Wedding Photographer Stamford – The George Hotel

As a professional wedding photographer living near Stamford, I have recently been covering weddings at The George Hotel nearly every other week.

I absolutely love Stamford and of all the wonderful wedding venues such as Burghley House, The William Cecil and The Crown Hotel but have a particular soft spot for The George Hotel of Stamford. I know the staff all very well and the venue feels like a home from home, which helps to use all of the hotel to full when performing wedding photography, especially when the English summer weather has been so poor this year.

My photography started with some preparation shots of the bride getting ready at The George Hotel, with Vanessa’s mother and some of her brides maids helping. The wedding service was being held in The Henry Whincup room and was attended by many close family and friends.

After the ceremony the guest had drinks on the patio and the monastery gardens, with very changeable weather the wedding party made the most of the brief sunshine, before having a full wedding breakfast in the Oak dining room.

Portrait Photographer Peterborough

Family portraits make such wonderful pictures, so often without a professional portrait photographer taking the picture someone is left out. We offer a range of portrait photography that can be in the studio or on location.

Wedding Photography The Normanton Park Hotel Rutland

Wedding Photography at The Normanton Park Hotel, Rutland Oakham

I have photographed many weddings at the Notmanton Park Hotel, in Rutland Oakham and always really enjoy shooting wedding’s at this venue due to the wonderful location on the banks of the reservoir.

With a March wedding you can expect the weather to be a little chilly but I didn’t expect the winter conditions with snow and arctic winds.

The Bride and Groom were married at the Normanton Church, which can be seen from the beautiful manicured lawns of The Normaton Park Hotel. After the wedding ceremony Justin and Charlotte had a full wedding breakfast and evening reception at the hotel.

With thick snow and blizzard conditions the Bride and Groom wouldn’t let the weather spoil this fantastic day and embraced the snow to create some wonderful opportunities for photographs in the grounds of Normanton Park Hotel and also in the grounds of the Normanton Church. All of the guests and bridal party really were very brave and helped by having photographs in the snow covered grounds of the hotel, making sure the bride and groom had a magical winter wedding day.

The Orton Hall Hotel Peterborough – Gary & Gemma

Wedding Photography – The Orton Hall Hotel Peterborough

With the weather being so unpredictable in recent weeks we didnt know what to expect for my first spring wedding photography shoot at The Orton Hall Hotel Peterborough. The last two weeks have been more like winter and we have been taking lots of wedding photographs in the snow!

The day started off with a flury of snow, but this had soon disappeared by the time we had arrived to photograph Gemma’s preparations before the wedding ceremony. Gemma and her sister were getting ready, along with her parents and nieces. This created a charming chaos with makeup artists and hair stylists all performing at once.

Orton Hall hotel is a venue where we have taken wedding photographs on many occasions and we know the 17th century manor house and grounds very well.

Gary and Gemma had a civil wedding ceremony in the hotel conservatory, over looking the magnificent woodland grounds. This was followed by a wedding breakfast and evening reception in the great hall.
