Family portraits make such wonderful pictures, so often without a professional portrait photographer taking the picture someone is left out. We offer a range of portrait photography that can be in the studio or on location.

I have photographed many weddings at the Notmanton Park Hotel, in Rutland Oakham and always really enjoy shooting wedding’s at this venue due to the wonderful location on the  banks of the reservoir.

With a March wedding you can expect the weather to be a little chilly but I didn’t expect the winter conditions with snow and arctic winds.

The Bride and Groom were married at the Normanton Church, which can be seen from the beautiful manicured lawns of The Normaton Park Hotel. After the wedding ceremony Justin and Charlotte had a full wedding breakfast and evening reception at the hotel.

With thick snow and blizzard conditions the Bride and Groom wouldn’t let the weather spoil this fantastic day and embraced the snow to create some wonderful opportunities for photographs in the grounds of Normanton Park Hotel and also in the grounds of the Normanton Church. All of the guests and bridal party really were very brave and helped  by having photographs in the snow covered grounds of the hotel, making sure the bride and groom had a magical winter wedding day.

With the weather being so unpredictable in recent weeks we didnt know what to expect for my first spring wedding photography shoot at The Orton Hall Hotel Peterborough. The last two weeks have been more like winter and we have been taking lots of wedding photographs in the snow!

The day started off with a flury of snow, but this had soon disappeared by the time we had arrived to photograph Gemma’s preparations before the wedding ceremony. Gemma and her sister were getting ready, along with her parents and nieces.  This created a charming chaos with makeup artists and hair stylists all performing at once.

Orton Hall hotel is a venue where we have taken wedding photographs on many occasions and we know the 17th  century manor house and grounds very well.

Gary and Gemma had a civil wedding ceremony in the hotel conservatory, over looking the magnificent woodland grounds. This was followed by a wedding breakfast and evening reception in the great hall.

What a weekend for the wedding of Charlotte and Justin at The Normanton Church, Rutland Water, Oakham. The snow was extreme and the wind had a chill of what felt like minus twelve !!!

Nothing could stop this wedding and even through snow blizzards the bridal party made the best and the most of the wild weather. The day was fantastic for the bride and groom and they will never forget walking through deep snow to get back to wonderful Normanton church. This was truly a beautiful winter wedding. One of the things I love about wedding photography at the Haycock Hotel is the chance to meet some lovely people and visiting beautiful locations.  I like the variation that each wedding brings even though it could be at a venue I have covered many times before, such as the charming Haycock Hotel set in the idyllic village of Wansford.

Wansford is a charasmatic typyically english village with lots of period features and The Haycock Hotel is simply delightful with its manacured lawns backing onto the river.

Ashley and Adam’s wedding photography coverage started with Ashley getting ready at the hotel and there was plenty of emotion between Ashley and her mum and dad.

Adam and the guests met in the courtyard before the cermony and enjoyed the sun and all the excitement building up to the wedding itself.

The civil wedding ceremony took place in the hotel followed by cocktails in the gardens adjacent to the ballroom.  The wedding breakfast was followed by the evening reception in the grand ball room.

We were very lucky to be chosen as the official wedding photographers for Christian and Anne.  Our wedding photographers day started with some photographs of the bride and and bridesmaids wedding preperations at her mothers house in Gliton, with hair and make up artists in attendace it was certainly busy and all the girls looked absoutley stunning.

The wedding took place in the village of  Glinton at St Benidicts Church in Peterborough and the reception was held in a fabulous marque in the grounds of The Manor House in Glinton Peterborough. The couple had a full wedding breakfest followed by an evening reception, with a live jazz band provinding all the entertainment.

The weather has been very wild and wet over the last few weeks and we suffered several heavy down pours that didn’t spoil the day for any of the wedding party. With several serving military personnel and colleagues attending the wedding, it was a fantastic wedding for the Bride and Groom who are both currently serving military personnel. Christian and Ann were a great couple and had such a fun time,  it really was such a pleasure spending the day with such a delightful Bride and Groom.

We had such fantastic weather for the wedding of Oliver and Davinia, married at St Mary The Virgin Church in Godmanchester.  The wedding breakfast and evening reception was held at Burghley House, Stamford which has to be one of my favourite wedding venues as a wedding photographer in the united Kingdom.

Davinia and Oliver were an absolute fantastic bride and groom  and I thoroughly enjoyed being chosen as the official wedding photographer. I cover several weddings a year at Burghley as a professional  photographer and love some of the more intimate areas in the grounds, the summer house is a pure delight over looking the lakes.

The main grounds at Burghley house are always fantastic, but the private gated gardens are simply stunning and we had some lovely wishes from some of the residents of Burghley!

The  manor house was buit in the Jacobean period and is situated in around 8 acres of lovely rolling countryside in Northamptonshire. Marie and Martin had a civil wedding at the hotel followed by wedding breakfast and evening reception which involved a highland Ceilidh Dance and full band.
